At Albaraka Türk, we view our participation banking activities as a reflection of a corporate social responsibility approach focused on creating value for society.
While continuing our activities, we aim to be a leading financial institution in the fields of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. In this regard, we support the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
We contribute to economic and global development to improve the quality of life in society, work to minimize the impacts of our activities on climate change, and collaborate with our stakeholders for a sustainable world.

Within the framework of Albaraka Türk's Sustainable Banking Program, the Corporate Social Responsibility Program prioritizes areas such as education, healthcare, the environment, and vulnerable groups. With the contributions of our employees, we implement social responsibility projects that support people, the environment, and economic and global development. Since 2017, we have been reporting these activities annually and sharing them on our website to raise societal awareness.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives
Upcycled Technology Atelier
Albaraka Türk has been rewarded with Platinum Reward as ranking 1st at 11. Corporate Social Responsibility Summit in "Quality Education" category Turkey organized by the Association of Corporate Social Responsibility with its project called “Add Value to Future” which has been initiated in 2018 by Albaraka Türk to provide equality in education and carried out this year as well.
Health Supports
Albaraka Türk continued to provide financial support for the health problems of its staff and their relatives, and the battery-powered chair needs of staff relatives in need were met.
Planting Saplings
With the cooperation of ÇEKUD, more than 4 thousand saplings were planted in the soil.
Within the scope of the income generation model, a Pistachio Afforestation Area was created in Kilis and 4,140 pistachio tree seedlings were donated.
Branch Design for Disabled Customers
All Albaraka Türk branches in Turkey are compliant with the "Regulation on the Accessibility of Banking Services" published by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) and are equipped to serve disabled customers.
Albaraka Türk Search and Rescue Team
In February 2023, following the earthquake disaster, the Bank established the Albaraka Türk Search and Rescue Team (ATAK) consisting of 32 volunteer personnel.
